Thank you for choosing Atma Namaste (“we”, “us”, “our”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect your data when you visit our website, register for or attend our online workshops, programs, and community offerings on Pranic Healing (the “Services”).
By using our Services, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

For the purposes of the DPDP Act, 2023 (India), Atma Namaste is the Data Fiduciary. For visitors located in the EU/EEA/UK, Atma Namaste is the Controller under GDPR/UK GDPR.

2. Scope and legal bases
This Policy applies to data collected through:
Our website and landing pages
Registration and participation in paid/free workshops, healing circles, masterclasses, webinars, group sessions, and community programs
Email communications, newsletters, surveys, testimonials, and support
Integrations we use to deliver Services (for example: Zoom/Google Meet, payment gateways, email/SMS providers, analytics, scheduling, and learning platforms)
Legal bases (India): Consent and legitimate uses as per the DPDP Act, 2023.
Legal bases (EU/EEA/UK): Consent, performance of a contract, legitimate interests, legal obligations (GDPR Arts. 6 and 9 for special categories).
3. The data we collect
We only collect data necessary to provide and improve our Services:
A. Identity & Contact Data
Name, email address, phone number, city/country, billing address.
B. Account & Auth Data
Login credentials (hashed), user IDs, role, profile photo (optional).
C. Transaction & Payment Data
Order details, invoices, limited payment metadata. Note: Card data is handled by our payment processors (for example, Razorpay/Stripe/PayPal). We do not store full card numbers.
D. Usage & Technical Data
IP address, device IDs, browser type/version, operating system, time zone, referring URLs, pages viewed, clickstream, session logs, error logs, approximate location, and cookie identifiers.
E. Communications & Support Data
Emails, chat messages, support tickets, feedback, survey responses, testimonials.
F. Program Participation Data
Workshop registrations/attendance, session preferences, time and duration of sessions, recordings where applicable (see Section 9), certificates/completion status.
G. Sensitive/Health-adjacent Data (optional, explicit consent)
You may choose to share health-adjacent information (for example, stress level, sleep quality, wellness goals, experiences related to energy work). We do not require such information to access general content. We process any sensitive data only with your explicit consent, strictly for your wellness experience (for example, tailoring a session). We do not use this data for marketing.

4. Why we process your data (Purposes)
We process your data to:
Provide and operate the Services, including registrations, reminders, links, and access to sessions.
Deliver live and recorded online workshops, group healing, and related content.
Personalize your experience, including recommending relevant sessions.
Process payments, issue invoices/receipts, manage refunds.
Communicate about schedules, updates, security alerts, administrative messages, and customer support.

Performance of a contract: to register you, provide access, deliver sessions, process payments.
Consent: newsletters/marketing, cookies beyond “necessary”, testimonials, surveys, recordings, and any sensitive data you voluntarily provide.
Legitimate interests: service improvement, fraud prevention, network and information security, and ensuring a stable user experience.

6. Children’s privacy
Our Services are intended for individuals 18 years and older. If you are a parent/guardian and believe a minor has provided personal data to us, contact info@atmanamaste.org and we will promptly delete such data unless retention is required by law.

9. Online sessions, recordings, and community spaces
Live Sessions: We may process your name, email, IP, join/leave time, and session duration.
Recordings: We record sessions only with clear notice and your consent. Recordings are used for replay to registered participants, quality assurance, or curriculum development. If you do not consent to being recorded, please keep your camera/mic off and avoid sharing personal details during recorded segments.
Breakout Rooms/Chat: Be mindful that information you share may be visible to other participants. Avoid sharing sensitive personal data in group chats.
Testimonials/UGC: If you voluntarily submit testimonials, reviews, or community posts, we process and may publish this content with your consent.
10. Newsletters and service communications
Service communications (transactional): registration, reminders, essential updates. You cannot opt out of essential operational emails that are necessary to deliver the Services.
Marketing newsletters: sent only with your consent. You can unsubscribe anytime via the link in the email or by contacting us.
11. International transfers
We may transfer personal data outside India (for example, to cloud or service providers). Where we do so, we implement appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections and robust vendor due diligence to ensure a level of protection comparable to applicable law.

Delete account: Email us or use in-product options (if available). Deletion may be restricted while transactions/refunds are pending or where retention is required by law.
Marketing opt-out: Use the unsubscribe link in emails or contact us.

Our website may contain links to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing personal data.
17. Special note on sensitive data
Any health-adjacent or sensitive information you choose to share with us for the purpose of Pranic Healing guidance or workshop personalization will be processed only with your explicit consent, used solely to provide the Services, not used for advertising, and not shared with third parties except processors needed to deliver the Services under strict confidentiality. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting info@atmanamaste.org

We may update this Policy to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. We will post the updated Policy with a new “Last updated” date. Where required by law, we will seek your consent to material changes.
